What are some signs and symptoms of gum disease? We call gum disease, or periodontal disease, a silent disease, and it’s often not really painful, but you can have pain. There’s painful gums, swollen gums, red bleeding gums, bad breath, loose teeth. So the end result of gum disease is losing teeth, and sometimes people won’t get it addressed at all.
They won’t really notice something or have a big concern until their teeth start getting loose. And at that point, it’s usually too late. So if you have any of those other signs or symptoms, you really need to come in and get things checked out. So please give us a call.
